She is a beauty no dings dents, anything from the flash of the camera well you can not see it with your naked eye at all. The red crystal top and bottom is spotless and scratch free.
YES it does work I took the batteries out to switch them it had a line out and I was told replace the battery that means its low well i only had one replacement and never bought a new one i will def buy a battery and get a pic of this working but for now before i forget again its up! Here are the specs i have found and when you look on ebay this watch runs from $250 to $1000 depending on what model/color and how complete. The watch displays the time in hour, minute and counting seconds all on one screen display. The day and date are accessed by depressing the button twice with the month and date illuminated on the red screen. The crystal is scratch free with the 'BULOVA' logo imprinted lettering with the Bulova symbol. The band is the longest version and will accommodate a wrist up to 8' This model has the 2 separate battery hatch covers on the back casing that houses one battery each that powers the time on the watch.
Imprinted on the back cover: BULOVA-Base Metal Bezel-Steel Back-Water Resistant-N7. Comes in orginal box!!! This is the most recent one complete and working that looks just like mine that i found it sold for $400! The cool design has made this Bulova one of the most collectible LED watches ever. The first edition from 1976 (N6) is referred to as the 2-button version as the later module 254 from 1977 only has 1-button. Both have two battery hatches that allow easy removal of 303/357 cells.
The inside of the case is insulated on the bottom with transparent tape with polarity markings for the batteries. The battery hatches have fancy battery clips that provide proper connectivity with the case so if they are missing such watches might be incorrectly offered as non-working. 'Sideview' modules are marked C.T.C. As they were subcontracted to a joint-venture called Computron Time Co. Created by Bulova and Integrated Display Systems. This weird looking Computron LED is commonly referred to as the 'Sideview', 'Wedge' or the 'Trapezoid' but most people just call it the 'Drivers' watch.
It's difficult to say if it really was designed for a driver who could view the time directly from the angled display without removing the wrist from the driving wheel. This was definitely a minor advantage as the driver still had to use his other wrist to push the command button:) The sun was a real enemy in the practical use of LED watches so in my opinion the sideview display was introduced to improve visibility as the display was shaded from direct sunlight.
Ok im happy you found the same website did and cut an pasted what i did for my description. If you would like to post the link to the site to be my guest. Did i forget to mention that it had reg batteries in it when i received it and it worked it just had 2 of the slashes missing which i was told was due to low batteries. I would be more then happy not to spend the money on replacing the batteries but i am not spending the $70 it would cost for an accutron watch battery when it worked for the year and a half i have had it with a reg battery in it. Whoever wins can or if you all would like me not to replace the battery and not to take any chances i will do that also.
